As a teenager in today’s world, I have had the privilege of experiencing the benefits of modern technology, but I am also a witness to the consequences of these advancements every day. The unprecedented rate of global warming, suffering of animals from human factors, and pollution of the natural world that we often take for granted are just a few testaments to the severity of the environmental issues facing our planet. With my fellow peers at Ecosphere, I strive to draw attention to these problems and play a part in improving our world so that future generations of both humans and other species will be ensured a better quality of life.
